I had a problem with the light bar, with the original DS4 controllers. The newer ones don't reflect at all for me, with the light dimmed all of the way in the settings. That cutout in the top of the newer style, definitely seems to take away some of the brightness. I prefer the sticks lined up, but staggered like the Switch Pro Controller, isn't bad either. Haven't owned an Xbox, since the original, so i've never used staggered sticks that much.
