the $70 and $80 price tags may seem like a lot, but remember that the base price for a game is $60, so really youre just paying an extra $10 or $20 for the peripheral.
they also specifically said this was a product targeted at kids. they still have a ton of AAA games targeted at the core gaming market (Bayonetta trilogy, Metroid Prime 4, etc.) coming this year, so dont act like they are giving up and looking for a cheap gimmick.
