Condemned:

Rocketpig, you have a 360 and haven't played Condemned? Basically, Condemned is like a lesser, older version of Bioshock. Graphically, it was the best launch game, and still is pretty good even by today's standards. The audio quality (expecially with surround sound) is excellent, as the game is incredibly dark, moody, and just awesome. The story is crazy (very confusing, but in a good, ask alot of questions, sort of way).

The first 3 levels are very monotnious, as is the combat system (think a dumbed down Oblivion), but very very violent. However, after the first 3 levels, you get to the Abandoned Mall, which is about the scariest and best moment of gaming history (think Umbrella Manor for RE1....That's if you played it when it came out).

I can't spoil the scary parts....But it's just the scariest level in gaming history. Yes, it's linear, and the combat is basic, but it's oh so fun. Since it was a launch game, copies of this game are cheap and easy. Any person interested in Bioshock needs to atleast rend and play through the game.

Condemned's storyline and ending are just fantastic. The flame effects are some of the best for any game out there right now, and play a huge part in the game, expecially later.

Yes, again, the combat is basic (I assume Bioshock's is going to be far better), but there's nothing like bashing a junkies face in :)

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.
