So it seems to me as if this thread can be summarized into three preferences:

1. Framerate -- a higher framerate is important for somebody because of faster response times and smoother visual transitions.

2. Portability -- being able to take the game with you when you go places is important.

3. Online play -- having a decent online experience is important.

How one ranks these three values determines which port they will get.

One thing is true though, the Switch will get many more people who choose to play multiplats on it than Wii U and maybe Wii. The portability makes up for the lower performance and visuals in ways that Wii motion controls or the Wii U gamepad didn't.
