http://www.pcgamer.com/genital-joustings-price-will-go-up-when-it-comes-out-next-week/
For the uninitiated: Genital Jousting is a party game about inserting cartoon penises into cartoon buttholes (on the cartoon penises) and occasionally some other things. With that out of the way, onto the news: Genital Jousting is leaving Steam Early Access and officially launching on Thursday, January 18, publisher Devolver Digital announced today.

>>We'll see tomorrow.

Epic Games has dropped a new Fortnite Battle Royale developer update video that offers a look at the coming map update, which will include changes to biomes to make them feel more distinct from one another, and information on what's going to happen to all that Christmas tree loot when the event ends. (Short answer: It's all going away.)

Old-school shooter Dusk blasts into Early Access
http://www.pcgamer.com/old-school-shooter-dusk-blasts-into-early-access/
Dusk isn't shy about its inspirations, taking elements of Doom, Quake, Half-Life, Hexen, and Redneck Rampage and mashing them together into a bloody pulp. But as Norm discovered when he played an early version last year, it's more than just a retro throwback, with dense, elaborate level design and modern environmental storytelling. Now you can try it out for yourself, because it's just launched on Steam Early Access.

Battlefield 1's Operation Campaigns go free for everyone
http://www.pcgamer.com/battlefield-1-operation-campaigns-go-free-for-everyone/
Battlefield 1's Operations mode, Evan argued a year ago, is one of the best game modes in any FPS, combining the scale of Conquest's 64-player battles with the focus of Rush, where you only attack a small number of objectives at any one time. Operation Campaigns string these Operations together back-to-back, and until this week there were just two, one free and one that was available to Premium Pass holders. From now on they'll all be available for free, developer DICE said this week.

http://www.pcgamer.com/sea-of-thieves-devs-talk-skeleton-ai-in-latest-developer-diary/
If you're looking forward to Rare's pirate shenanigan sim Sea of Thieves then it's worth keeping one eye on the game's YouTube channel, which posts regular developer diaries, gameplay videos and explainers of the games features. The latest talks about the way that the AI of skeletons will work—they'll be one of the main enemy types you'll face in the game.

Death Trash is a post-apocalyptic RPG filled with profanity, gore, and puke
http://www.pcgamer.com/death-trash-is-a-post-apocalyptic-rpg-filled-with-profanity-gore-and-puke/
Death Trash promises to be a lot of things, most of them unpleasant. It's a post-apocalyptic, cyberpunk RPG filled with, in its own words, "large flesh beasts, grotesque, sexual references and trash-talking unlike anything seen before". Your character can even puke on demand, if you give them the right ability. But despite all that, it's the art that's really caught my eye.

Awesome Games Done Quick 2018 finishes with more than $2.25 million raised for charity
http://www.pcgamer.com/awesome-games-done-quick-2018-finishes-with-more-than-225-million-raised-for-charity/
This year's Awesome Games Done Quick has sadly come to a close. But there's good news: the celebration of speedrunning raised more than $2.25 million for the Prevent Cancer Foundation, which is a new record and about $40,000 more than last year.

>>Great news!

Remnants of Naezith trailer shows off its grappling hook platforming
http://www.pcgamer.com/remnants-of-naezith-trailer-shows-off-its-grappling-hook-platforming/
Every so often I like to spend a weekend buried in an action platformer, trying my best to master its mechanics and climb the leaderboards. It barely ever works (I'm far too panicky in tense moments), but I have a blast. So I'm looking forward to seeing how Remnants of Naezith turns out when it launches next month. Its hook, literally, is that you use a grappling hook to swing yourself around its levels.

http://www.pcgamer.com/stardew-valley-creator-teases-multiplayer-and-new-additions/
The last we heard from Chucklefish regarding Stardew Valley's forthcoming multiplayer mode was that they were "pushing that beta back to Q1 2018 in order to make room for polish and QA." Today, the game's creator 'ConcernedApe' tweeted out a single screenshot, showing a four-player LAN game in progress.

Monster Hunter: World shows off gorgeous Coral Highlands
http://www.pcgamer.com/monster-hunter-world-shows-off-gorgeous-coral-highlands/
Monster Hunter: World is due on console next week, despite being pushed to autumn/fall on PC. We learned last week why this is the case, and also that it won't include loot boxes and/or microtransactions when it lands. What it will give players, though, is some gorgeous locales to hunt unruly beasts within—such as the Coral Highlands.
