I'd be very surprised if it didn't eventually come...
I wouldn't be surprised if it's just a port though...
Mario Maker is the kind of thing that will have major appeal to Switch owners who never bothered with the Wii U...
I imagine they wouldn't even feel the need to convince anyone to double dip (not that it would be hard to integrate new content)...
