Lol no. People may know the characters of Sonic and Donkey Kong, but nobody in this 'real world' gives a sh*t about their respective franchises. Same goes for Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat. Nobody you'd ask on the streets is going to recognize a single screenshot of those. NBA2K alongside Madden is also only a semblance of a thing in the US. The only thing people would recognize is the face of Mario, and probably Pikachu.
