Idd.. Switch has some excellent hardware, held back by some backwards software limitations. Fear not though, hackers are already working on a hacked firmware that should add a lot more features to the console.
Hopefully the homebrew scene can port over Netflix/Amazon and unlock a full web browser to the thing. As for backwards compatibility, adding legacy support *ahem* (emulators) should be a piece of cake.
