I adore the Switch, but it's definitely perplexing to me that virtually none of those online features have been implemented yet. If there's one gaping hole on the Switch, it's the lack of something akin Miiverse, the lone feature from the Wii U that pretty much everyone adored. I get that you want to leave the Mii and Wii names behind, but just rename the damn service! lol
It's very hard to wrap one's head around how they could be so inept after all these years in that area, and it's definitely the one area that threatens to hold the console back if they never rectify it.
I won't speak to the Vita, though, as that just seems like a flawed and unnecessary comparison to me. This criticism stands without it.
