I've started reading something called Ano Musume ni Kiss to Shirayuri.
It's about a girl who works really hard to seem perfect because she secretly doesn't feel worthy of being loved otherwise. Unfortunately, there is a real genius in her class who is number 1 at everything without even trying. This girl sleeps through class and avoids most people but she has taken an interest in the main character--perhaps even a serious interest, if you know what I mean.
