Tripwire Interactive headlines the Humble 'Hope for Orphans' Bundle
http://www.pcgamer.com/tripwire-interactive-headlines-the-humble-hope-for-orphans-bundle/
The new Humble Bundle is all about "Hope for Orphans," which strikes me as kind of an odd name for this particular collection of games. It's got the Second World War, the Vietnam War, the war against zombies, the war against wizards, two hypothetical Third World Wars that seem increasingly inescapable, and to round it all out, a sci-fi puzzle-platformer.

If that Humble Bundle is not enough for you, there's also the Steam Midweek Madness deals:

• SUPERHOT is 40% off: http://store.steampowered.com/app/322500/SUPERHOT/
• Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite is also 40% off: http://store.steampowered.com/app/493840/Marvel_vs_Capcom_Infinite/

MODS/EMULATORS

http://www.dsogaming.com/news/this-mod-adds-permadeath-mechanics-to-fallout-4/
Modder ‘JJ2197’ has released a new version of his permadeath mod for Fallout 4. The “You Only Live Once” mod is inspired by the YOLO run-throughs of Many a True Nerd, this mod brings to Bethesda’s RPG permadeath mechanics, meaning that the modder has removed healing, curing addictions, rad removal and limb healing from all items.

>>If you want a challenge, this is your chance. Get it from Nexus Mods.

Distract and lure enemies by whistling or throwing bolts with this Fallout 4 mod

If you're looking to up your stealth game in Fallout 4, creep on over to Nexus Mods and slip the Tactical Distraction System mod into your bag of tricks. The mod lets you whistle or toss a bolt, creating a sound that will catch the attention of an enemy (or enemies) in the vicinity, luring them over.

Darkest Dungeon mod adds one of Dark Souls' toughest bosses as new class

Above and beyond their similar difficulty levels, Dark Souls and Darkest Dungeon have overlapped in the past by virtue of player-made mods. To this end, Carnifex's Warrior of Sunlight class mod—which recreates Solaire of Astora in Red Hooks' unforgiving cavern crawler—is easily one of the best, and Daoro's Dragonslayer Knight class mod is another that's caught my eye.
