Aligning per region or not is just different metrics. If it makes a milestone in one metric but not the other, it still makes the milestone in the first metric. So that all is irrelevant, because the thread asks if the PS4 will be able to clear a milestone. To dismiss that, if it does that but not simultanously clears another milestone is kinda - strange. Sure, I could say the PS4 does not sell 500 million, but what has that to do with the other milestone discussed here.

Anyways, I was answering about Sony (as any other manufacturer) is mainly itself responsible for successes or failures of it's products. The aligning discussion confuses me. So I'm out, I stated my opinion that Sony made their successes and failures on their own.
