The PS4 is selling really good and I expect that to continue. It sold 70.6 million in 4 years and 2 weeks (integral Black Friday weeks). It's probably going to hit 100 million in the next 24 months. Question is, can it do it in less time than the PS2 did?
The PS1 took 9 years and 6 months to reach the same milestone for comparison.
