The thing is the Switch just launch in 2 new regions early December and is (reportedly) launching in China next year. When you see even Pokémon wants to get big time in China from the recent news yesterday, makes you wonder if Nintendo can have a success there. The Switch is perfect for the market and they have huge games coming exclusively on it that are already popular in China. It could really be a game changer.

Other than that, Switch will be pretty much the only system in Japan with a small presence from the PS4 when there is big releases but when you see DQ didn't had any legs it makes you wonder if the console is really attracting the consumers there. Switch will pick up in Europe later like most Nintendo console, just think it's too expensive still. And in the US, it's already a phenomenon so with Metroid/Smash/Pokemon there is no worries to have.

Switch topping 80-85 millions would be doing slightly better than the 3DS. I think it can enter the 100 million mark easily if Nintendo don't kill the momentum.
