A more important question is how much money is Sony still losing on each PS3 sold?
The massive surge in sales could actually COST them money (edit: in the short term). Of course, royalties from MGS4 could partially offset that. Though many people have speculated that no or low royalties could have been part of Sony's exclusivity payment.
