I don't really see much potential in a game of that nature.
Have you seen any female enemies in BotW?
The only obvious genderless enemy would be ChuChus, and maybe Octorocks.
Meaning you would be left with fields of ChuChus, as they would keep reproducing, with nothing like Bokoblins to keep the population in check.
Mobile phones could run the BotW engine.
The engine was built to run on the WiiU, and pretty much all modern phones eclipse that, power-wise.
Also the Switch isn't very powerful, and a top end phone today is probably more powerful that the Switch (or will be within a year).
