At least they aren't the Bills.

Buffalo Bills 9 7 0 .563 3–3 7–5 302 359

W1

Tennessee Titans 9 7 0 .563 5–1 8–4 333 356

W1

Titans are -23 in points versus opponents while Bills are at an impressive -57.

Compare to the 2 other 9-7 AFC teams that didn't make it.

Los Angeles Chargers 9 7 0 .563 3–3 6–6 365 275 W2
Baltimore Ravens 9 7 0 .563 3–3 7–5 392 300 L1

+90 and +92...

NFL tie-breaking procedure sucks.

Titans did beat Ravens 23-20.
Chargers did beat Bills 54-24.

These games should count for something. Titans and Chargers in the playoffs.

The Browns basically kept the Ravens from going instead of the Bills. Strength of Schedule is an interesting stat. Bills .492 vs Ravens .441. I could see the Browns making the .51 difference alone since they have to play each other twice, while the Bills didn't have to face them.
