Grade your 2017! And goals for 2018?

I honestly can't think of a better year for gaming I've had, or will have for a long time. Zelda: BotW, Mario Odyssey, Xenoblade 2, Persona 5, Fire Emblem Echoes...three of these games have entered my top 10, and the other two are easily top 50. Quality-wise, it's been unreal, and I can't imagine 2018 topping this, so I'd say a solid 10/10.

As far as life goes...I mean...hard to rate this one. My dad passed away at the beginning of the year, so that obviously overshadows anything else that happened. I had a lot of time to brace myself for it (he was diagnosed with cancer 3 years ago), but his last two weeks was still the saddest point of my life, and still brings me down thinking about it.

I suppose on the positive side, I've been seeing career advancement, had my 1-year anniversary of moving into my first house, helped my mom move to her new home, and had a fantastic year for new anime. All trivial things in comparison, of course, but not negligible either. So while 2017 was pretty lousy on this front...I have high hopes for 2018 being much better.
