One thing I don't get though, you're adding RE7 in there, which has great movement but I can't imagine the gun play in doom with a head controlled cursor, Damn, one would end up with some serious neck issues after a session or two of that. I haven't tried Arizona sunshine or farpoint yet and I don't have an Aim but I'd be surprised if it gets much better than mixing control schemes in Data Center, having smooth turning mixed with teleporting works just fantastically with the moves. I hear great things about Skyrims patch too and hope to try this fabled movement system. |
That's exactly how I played it with the DS4, except the targeting is 15 degrees too high hence the having to aim your head down all the time. I kept switching back to AIM for the exploration parts and occasional enemies as, yep, it's not comfortable.
Skyrim works great with move. In the Solus Project I use the DS4 in my right hand for smooth rotation and sprint, left hand to pick things up etc. Skyrim has smooth rotation on the buttons which is only on/off. It works, yet using an analog stick is still better.
Next gen needs new controllers with analog sticks, no way around it. It's simply better.
