GT League was a nice diversion. The xp is good, I went from practically standing still at lvl 38 to lvl 41 now. It's not very challenging unless you use way under powered cars, which is how you can make great money and xp.

Best payout for time is the GT League pro professional lounge race in Blue moon speedway with the KTM Xbow dialed in to max N300 category, min weight. You're up against N1000 cars which means 150% handicap bonus. It's not too hard to keep it clean as well (you have enough time to get in first before the last lap) for a nice jackpot after 12.5 minutes. Just take care on the first and last corner, the KTM oversteers easily and you'll end up doing pirouettes at high speed.

The best I can squeeze out of custom race mode is 133k and about 900xp for a 10:30 lap on the nurb 24h with N200 car against GR.1. Yet that's not really racing as that only works with fuel consumption at x10 so all the GR.1 race cars run out of fuel lol. It still takes until the end of the last straight to make first. (and you need the fuel map at 5 not to run out yourself) A real race only nets you 30k or so. A sport race online, way less than that.

The endurance races were fun as well. I went for only 1 pit stop in each by conserving fuel which nets you easy wins. The Porsche one, 30 laps on Suzuka, is a real squeeze for fuel. I dialed the car back to N400 (20% bonus and less fuel) and drove with fuel map 6. Made it to first then back to second before my pit stop at then end of lap 14. Then I drove the rest with fuel map 4. Too easy. I raised the fuel consumption in the last 2 laps to end in style on fumes, 1 minute ahead of second place.

504k and 9k xp for that. No clean bonus though. The AI gets vengeful now and then. Passing them clean for an hour is near impossible when they start dive bombing your fuel economy car.

GT League is more of a puzzle how low you can still beat the AI. There is no challenge with the recommended cars. Yet you can't go too low as first place is usually way out ahead of the pack.

I hit the 24k km driven, 160 hours driving time.  Sadly very little of that in VR. It's just not fun racing by yourself.
