I bet you are the same delusional person who said Microsoft would never drop HD-DVD (do you still own and watch your HD-DVDs??) or Zune or Windows/Lumia phones or Surface RT or Xbox One DRM, Project Spark to name a recent few products that have been shut down.
You say never, yet HISTORY has shown us that Microsoft are quick to do so, when their "next big thing" doesn't quite capture the world by storm. NEVER is a very very long time :). I suspect you may regret typing that.
