Sales of a game, or previous game in a series, come from a large number of people. Therefore, under Pemalite's definition almost every game on the planet is crowdfunded. I rag on every game that nickels and dimes it's customers with micro-transactions and lies. I'm critical of Destiny 2, Battlefront II, Shadow of Moredollars, etc. Not sure what you mean by sub-PC threads. I just post in whatever threads I see in the sidebar, and whatever I feel like reading, or commenting on. |
He used his example, and you tried to forcefully apply it to anything in order to counter his point, which shows from the beginning that you were never going to see it from his perspective.
You can apply a lot of definitions to almost anything in general, but in doing so, you over simply things and even confuse them for others.
Except this game is allowing people to buy into it and help continue with funding. I'm waiting for the finished product. You think it's nickel and diming, but it's not, as it's optional for you to participate in helping them craft the game or simply sitting back and doing nothing.
All you're going to do here is waste time by going back and forth with anyone that tries to tell you differently, and in time you'll end up stamping your feet around all the more with the news from this game, which will eventually lead to some sort of mod stepping in over time (because people that dedicated get carried away way too easily).
Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.
