Well, the way a read you were putting more on not noticeable, not that it just wasn't something that would impair your gaming. There is quite the difference. But if that is what you meant then yes, on my opinion the differences weren't really an issue.

I think I got confused a moment but I am saying that it was not that noticeable. Like perma said, at the beginning you could say it was, but after its neglectable.

Then I can't disagree with you, for me even going between PS4 and Pro the graphical difference doesn't bother me, although I "perceive" even if not side by side that Pro version is prettier.

So you admit that the was barely any difference after launch?

I never made such an assertion.

I was not discrediting CGI, nor implying he makes stuff up, just saying he is passionate when it comes to graphics and that he would love the chance to debate the topic.

That is because he is a tech enthusiast, just like myself.

Well, PR guys are famous for talking BS, so even though I like to retort to their shenanigans, it was obvious even to the less informed that 4k60fps Ultra and uncompromising wasn't possible and with a quick explanation from you it was obvious. Both PS4Pro and X1X would only have 4k60fps ultra for simple games, and for complex games the bar on X1X should always be comfortably higher than on PS4Pro but both lower than native 4k60fps.

I also remember they changing from demanding 4k from devs to making it their free choice.

Indeed. Although the Xbox One X will hit 4k more often than the Playstation 4 Pro, which is completely understandable with the faster hardware (And price tag to match.)
Whether that matters is really up to the individual though.
True 4k will likely start next console generation with a good uptick to visual fidelity, but the real gains will be on the CPU side, we could see a big uptick in player/character counts, not just people but wildlife, we saw a little glimpse of that in Horizon: Zero Dawn with even small details like Ants on a tree.

Ultimately the games speak for themselves.
For someone who is more "casual" they probably don't give two shits and a spoon, the Wii sold like crack and that was easily the inferior machine that generation... But for someone who actually cares and understands graphics, then it can be rather jarring.

No doubt X1X is a superior HW compared to PS4Pro as much as PS4 was superior to X1 and PC ate all 4 for breakfast =]

If X1 had the games I want the 499 wouldn't be an issue for me, same way for PC that unfortunately is to expensive to put together in Brazil, doesn't have the exclusives that I like from Sony and unfortunately is almost pure digital. Would love to keep a 600-1000 USD gaming PC for 5 years playing all I want with cheaper game price.
