I thought I'd give this manga a try but ... to be honest, I'm not quite sure I'll stick with it.  The main reason is that everyone seems to be kind of jerks.  The main girl is incredibly insensitive, her friend is judgemental and violent, and the main character's sister is psycho--seriously, she slipped her brother a sleeping pill so she could dress him up like a girl.

Yeah, I see what you mean. It makes me feel bad for the main guy with how he's treated by them, especially the ice queen. The story's short though and things do get better among the 3. Hopefully they fixed that joke chapter though that just ruins a major point in the manga.

I kept reading and I'm enjoying it now.  The start was pretty rocky, though.  Botan, especially, seems like a better person than her first impression indicated.  However, I'm starting to worry about her getting hurt and I kind of don't want to see that. 

I do wish the Princess showed more empathy for the people she harms.  

This made me laugh.  Smug Botan is best Botan.
