None of that is true though because of parity. It was the same before the upgrades and it will always be true. People are fooling themselves because they are biased and had to justify paying $500 dollars. No one can see a difference in multiplat games. You can't tell which is which without knowing the game is for a specific platform. Most mutiplats look average anyway like AC and Shadow of War. Neither have great graphics and those are the games MS has deals with claiming they look better on the X. Uncharted 4 on standard PS4 look better than any game on the X.

Generally there arent huge differences but there often isnt parity either. X1X titles tend to have higher resolutions, while higher graphics settings and textures vary.

Uncharted 4 is a great looking game but Gears 4 is arguably more impressive at 4K and with sharper textures. The 60 fps option doesent hurt either. Forza 7 also has an edge on GT thanks to resolution and textures. Hence, even when PS4 has arguably better assets the X1X still gets an edge from polish in other ways.

As one should expect even if from higher power...

We know there isn't parity clause. At most what is there is a dev that won't take additional resources to push higher one platform.
