Nobody likes to see a family member go bad, so when that happens you want to do everything in your power to bring them back to the light. I just think it makes the whole struggle between Cloud and Sephiroth much more personal and relatable. Think about it: Why would Cloud suddenly risk everything and go on an epic quest to stop Sephiroth when, in the beginning of the game, he didn't give a damn about the planet or anyone on it?
What do you guys think? Do you agree or disagree? Am I forgetting an important plot detail or should they make the change? Am I onto something or should they leave the story alone? What other changes to the story do you think they should make, if any? |
Your dream is terrible. In fact, I'm not sure if you're even serious about it. Because the way Sephiroth came to be, how he was created from Jenova cells engineering, is vital to the story's foundations. That you think your idea makes more sense than the original story... I'm at a loss of words to express what I think of what you just wrote.
Your idea could find its place at the bottom quality tier of crappy fan fictions.
