I don't think it will completely close the gap with PS4, but I'm quite sure that if Ninty will produce enough units and won't kill it early, it will reach huge numbers. Wii doesn't look out of reach, it sold more than 100M despite it was killed too early, and other consoles managed to outsell it, and even PS3 and XB360, competing with Wii and with Sony and MS being so clumsy with them, sold more than 85M, so with Ninty clearly trying to do its best with NS, 100M don't look unreachable. But unless PS4 sales suddenly plummet, closing the existing gap would take more than the time Ninty is willing to keep even a successful generation alive.
