I believe both. Although to be fair the more I look into it. It is fascinating.

Almost all definitions seem to use 13 as the cut off.

So what do you call a 30+ year old that sexual assaults 14+ year olds?  You are still considered a sex offender if you touch a 12 year old as much as you would a 14 year old right?

On top of that why does child porn count people over the age of 13?  Why is a 15 year old a "child" for child porn, but not pedophilia.

The legal definitions are so strange.

I wouldn't call it pedophilia because the victims were not childs, and yes, the legal definitions are strange, the "pedophile" term has been misused so much that somebody in his 20's is called a pedophile because he's attracted by teenagers and end in the same category as somebody who molest childrens (I'm not saying that's the case of Moore)

The proper term would be hebephilia (attracted to pubecent children ages 12-14) or ephebophilila (attracted to postbubecent, but young teenagers ages 15 - 19). It's easier for the media to report on the more well known term pedophelia, though.
