I see what is your point, but your example is wrong. A big part of my playtime on PS4 is on the go (when it's not VR), in my bed or at my office. The method is not as practical as the Switch, but the option exists and works wonderfully (at least for me where I am).

I play my high-end desktop gaming PC all the time on the go.

Supposedly with the Switch and Rainway you'll bw able to. ;P
