Update: Blizzard performs incredible Deathstalker Rexxar u-turn, new zombeasts are inbound!
http://www.pcgamer.com/blizzard-please-dont-abandon-deathstalker-rexxar-and-his-infinite-menagerie-of-zombeasts/
Last Friday I wrote that with the release of Hearthstone's new Kobolds & Catacombs expansion, the associated subreddit was an unusually sunny place to browse. That lasted all of five minutes. Weirdly, this time the issue isn't with one of the new cards, (though complaints about the ubiquity of Corridor Creeper are already in the post), but with one of the Hero cards from Knights of the Frozen Throne, the previous set. Over the weekend it was discovered that Deathstalker Rexxar, the Death Knight card for the Hunter class, isn't using any of the new Beast cards when you activate his hero power.
Update: Holy heck, Huffer fans—it actually worked! This morning Blizzard announced that following the fan feedback about Deathstalker Rexxar's hero power not evolving as new Beast cards are released, the developer has had a change of heart and will now be updating the card accordingly.

The Netherlands is a nation with a long and storied history, but it will steered into Civilization 6 by a ruler of a relatively recent vintage. Queen Wilhelmina ascended to the throne in 1890, when she was just ten years of age, and led the nation through both World Wars before abdicating in 1948—a reign of nearly 58 years.

The latest Destiny 2 update—1.1.1.1, "the one after Curse of Osiris"—is now live, bringing with it Masterwork weapons, engram changes, Leviathan and Trials changes, and (this is the big one) a fix for the 60+ fps bug that was turning PC Guardians into greasy smears on the wall.

It was, and the time has come again for an Overwatch winter event! Winter Wonderland kicks off today, December 12, and runs until January 1. As usual, there are new seasonal skins, which we've embedded below.

http://www.pcgamer.com/uk-gambling-commission-says-children-as-young-as-11-are-getting-into-skin-gambling/
For the first time ever, the UK Gambling Committee's year-end report on Young People and Gambling has looked into "awareness and participation rates" of skin gambling (if you're not sure what that is, here's a primer). The report states that, "based on the description provided within the questionnaire," 45 percent of children aged 11-16 knew about skin gambling, and 11 percent said they had placed bets with in-game items at some point in the past.

>>That's so f*cked up.

Deck-building dungeon crawler Book of Demons gets a new class in its latest update
http://www.pcgamer.com/deck-building-dungeon-crawler-book-of-demons-gets-a-new-class-in-its-latest-update/
We first played Book of Demons in mid-2016, just before sitting down with its creator at PAX West, who said it was born of a desire to distill Diablo down to its purest form. Which came as no surprise, it immediately reminded us of Diablo, albeit far cuter. It's been trucking along in Steam Early Access ever since, and recently received a big update which added the rogue, the last of its three classes.

Today, developer Bulkhead Interactive released a "pre-announcement" trailer which explores the game's development and artwork, and also teases the upcoming release of Battalion's first proper reveal trailer, which is coming January 9.
