the PR team that put together the infograph simply cited their last offcially revealed shipment number and it's pretty likely they didn't have access to newer figures
btw quarterly reports don't come out the day after the period that's reported on is over, Sony releases theirs about 1.5-2 months later - and lying in these reports is a total no-go that can result in collapse of stock value and billion dollar lawsuits from shareholders
