You know what my friend? You are absolutely right. What I'm saying about Nintendo is EXACTLY the same as saying that the PS4 success is not as good for consumers in the sense they don't have the choice to play those games on the go. I don't notice cause gaming on the go is not for me, but you are still very right about it. So as I don't really notice with my PS4 cause gaming on the go is not my thing I can TOTALLY understand you guys who love gaming on the go, not noticing this issue with Nintendo either. But as I realize that the "on the go" choice is not there for PS4 consumers, I hope you realize and acknowledge the same point about Nintendo and that's all I've been trying to say about this. |
Naturally, it's fair to say the Switch nature is bad for your personal perspective. I think the reason why you're getting some firm response is beacuse you presented (expecially in your first post) a personal perspective as an absolute consumer perspective.
It we really had to be purely objective any form of game exclusivity is bad for consumers in terms of choice and convenience. On the other hand exclusivity brings advanteges to producers which can indirectly translate into quality advantages to consumers.
