How come there are some games that are just in beta forever? I can come up with a few titles off the top of my head like Road Redemption, DayZ, and many more. Now you have companies that have their game in beta announcing DLC for said game when they haven't even finished the game...
What is up with this? Lazy developers? Not enough people or time working on game? Ambition too high? Developer trying to get support?
I don't think I'd ever jump on a game that seems to be stuck in beta forever. That includes PUBG which if I had to guess will be in beta for a very long time. What's funny is most of these forever betas seem to have originated from kickstarter. Gotta feel bad for people that threw down money for support and get rewarded with a half finished game.
