I'll try if you haven't played the prior games it'll be hard to understand, BB and DS use a more realistic mode of movement while MH is slightly more stylised and exaggerated you feel this the most when it comes to turning and aiming hits, it makes using the Bowgun set easier but it throws off your aim when using weapons like the hammer. The result is if you play BB and such you might be fine even though it's slightly slower than it but a number of MH players will find it slightly sluggish in movement this carries over to the weapon hits as muscle memory will mess with your button presses.
