I said it before and I'll say it, be glad its just timed. The worst deals for consumers keep games exclusive.

All the major console developers do that crap. Even the amazing Nintendo *cough Bayonetta cough*.   

Nintendo saved Bayonetta 2 when no other publisher would, so it's no surprise that Platinum Games gave Bayo 3 exclusivity to them out of gratitude (plus Bayonetta is a character in Super Smash Bros., which is a huge deal and can boost the popularity of the franchise).
