I find that the teasers were a lot better in hyping the game up than this full blown game cutscene, I wish the game took on a more supernatural route than a sci-fi route, it feels a lot scarier not knowing what these things are, evoking a more cosmic horror type of vibe which I love. the fact that this game is sci-fi obviously means that these creatures are made by man and are totally going to be controllable by some kind of antidote or virus or some other attainable plot device. A supernatural direction would open so many possibilities, create a setting which is so much more intriguing, make you feel actual dread at seeing these (from the trailers) omnipotent beings.
Still, cool game though. I'm pretty hype.
