There was a massive campaign during the postal survey... The no camp were using issues not-related to same-sex marriage to scare people into voting no.

Shouldn't have needed a vote to begin with. $122 million is a ton of money when the Government has been screeching we are broke and thus making cutbacks to Health, Education, Infrastructure, Welfare and so on.
