Excuse me, but literally none of those lacked enough third party support. One could argue that the Wii had bad third party support, but it was still abundant.

And just like that, you've explained why this won't be a problem for the Switch.

Yeah that third party support really doesn't compare. While we're still getting lesser versions of games on the Switch, they still play exactly like they do on other systems. Those Wii "ports" were often built from the ground up and were almost always terrible... I honestly don't recall buying a single 3rd party game for my Wii, but I've already bought a ton for the Switch just a few months in.

Also, as for those EA franchises, EA will inevitably port them to the Switch now that they see the money is potentially there. It should come as no surprise to anyone that 3rd party support from some larger publishers was essentially a "test the waters" approach following the Wii U, and honestly it has been much stronger than anyone could reasonably have expected.

If Nintendo ever gets their online service up and running and it continues to sell well next year, I'd be quite surprised if we don't start seeing Madden and such on the Switch. I'm still not sure CoD or BF will ever make an appearance, but frankly I think this system can sell just fine without them.
