They're competing for time among two different groups of people. As the top-selling games on each will be evident, minimal crossover. They will have very different software libraries. It's not like the PS4/XBO, where the games are largely the same.

There is one group of people: People who want to play games. You haven't grasped what I said when I meant, they are competing for someone's gaming time. It is completely logical for Sony to be concerned with this.
