Yeah, pretty obvious if you have ANY confusion about what sport's World Cup is happening in Russia next summer,
YOU ARE NOT EVEN CONSIDERING GOING TO RUSSIA TO SEE IT.

I would love to go myself, but don't have quite the financial situation for it at the moment.
If I went I would probably try to hit at least two locations to get a wider view of country.

Moscow & St Petersburg both seem to have lots of 'cultural' attractions (and long summer days),
I would probably try to hit up Sochi in the south on the Black Sea with forests/mountains nearby,
and St Petersburg just because it is less of a megacity than Moscow and easier to get around. (?)
Although Moscow Metro stations are supposed to amazing sight, and that is where final game is.
The smaller cities probably are interesting too, with more 'typical' Russian experience than Moscow/StP.
Maybe some of the Russian posters can give tips or opinion on the other cities the WC will happen in.

How much time before/after the WC do you expect to be able to spend?

I'm going to Poland for a few days then getting a bus to kaliningrad. I'll spend a day there before flying to Saint Petersburg. I'm there for a few days where I'll watch Morocco VS Iran.

Then it's a night train to Moscow where I will watch

Argentina VS Iceland,

Germany VS Mexico,

Poland VS Senegal,

Portugal VS Morocco.

We were then going to travel to sochi but it's too expensive and too far. So instead we are going to Novgorod where we will watch Argentina VS Croatia.

After that it's back to Moscow and then back to Dublin. The night trains are free for fans so they are a nice saving for fans as it's free travel plus 1 less night you need to book accommodation for.
