But compass as well. When I do finally find where I am and where I want to go, I could easily quick travel sure, but I like walking, so I look at me and and location and go "Okay, I gotta go NE" I then exit map and look at my screen and go "which direction is NE" No freaking compass.

You'd think that after BOTW's well executed map system a map for the whole Titan would have been a given not the mess they went with instead and the compass just points you in a vague direction, I remember it took me ages to find the place where you get the second items for the boat.

Well I have the little map turned off the whole time. Same as I had BotW HUD turned off playing. I've learned to not think in directions of North, South, East, West, but more along lines of Head, Tail, Town, ect. Big landmarks you can see. It's more that the map sucks that I think E or West ever. I open map and from it I can't tell where the head or tail is, so I just have to do the standard, head NE from my location. Then I leave and go "shit, which was is east"

Which makes me all the more want a big sweeping view of the Titan at some point. I want ot see what he/she looks like. As well as a full map of the Titan with it showing its head and everything on it.
