I am quite sure that people have noticed that the Chiefs are trash, but the Jets' form curve hasn't been any better. I think they started 3-2 and went on to be 4-7, giving them the same 1-5 record over the past six games as the Chiefs. Difference is that the Chiefs have a more talented roster, so picking them was understandable.

Counterpoint: Home team has an advantage when it is between 2 trash teams.

2: Strength of schedule. Jets 1-5 against 5 winning teams, while Chiefs 1-5 against 3 winning teams even losing to Giants.
