It's one of the best endings of the franchise I'd say. Things take an interesting twist as the one who "dies" turns out to be Tidus (or rather, vanishing since he's a dream) instead of Yuna, especially when everyone has made up their minds to defy fate at that point. And it's quite sad to see Tidus and Yuna dedicate a small time to say goodbye to each other.

The brief "high five" of Tidus and Jecht with Braska and Auron around, and Yuna's speech which quick flashbacks of everything that transpired are also neat touches.

Small scene at the very end of Tidus was innocuous and harmless in my opinion, but everything had to take a nasty turn and probably was one of the reasons that made FFX-2 happen.
