So a few last gen and early this gen games almost reach 4K and most others use dynamic resolution and checkerboarding, yet you don’t think “true uncompromised 4K” is misleading, but “dynamic 4K using checkerboarding” is?!

The bolded part. Read it. What you wrote, is NOT what reads in the advert. You know this. Like I said, they're using 'Dynamic' in the strictest sense of the word. That is deceitful. You were duped, I'm afraid.

If it makes you feel better though, the Wipeout Omega Collection actually runs at native 4K 60fps. Then again, as you so eloquently put it, just a 'last gen' game.
