Im pretty sure the new Microsoft mixed reality headset will be compatible with the xbox One X next year.

 

They released inside out tracking headset and at the same time removed the kinect connector for the Xbox One X (so no "ps4 like" solution with outside sensor tracking).

I'm not really expecting much competition from this, even more when people like to make it clear that it isn't made by MS but by several different companies.
