This whole Pep Redmond thing is odd. As a saints fan, I don't mind him saying how he doesn't like the style of play we did to try and get a result against the best team in the league right now. But the guys got to relax on the ego a little. People are saying "But he wants people to play good football." No crap. So would I but if we played attacking football against their team they'd open us up and instead of 2-1 and them scrapping a victory, we'd get hammered 5-0, like Huddersfield did.
Plus why pick Redmond? Why not Yoshida? The captain Davis? Or the person who told them to play defensive, the manager? Come on Pep, you love football? Talk to those in charge of the team, talk to Pellegrino, don't try and talk to a player to try and undermine their bosses authority. Bet he wouldn't like it if someone did it to his players.
Hmm, pie.
