Japan is the second best selling country for the ps4

Japan IS getting more irrelevant each year. Though that doesn't mean that it is irrelevant at the moment,

Agree, fact is that Japan is getting less relevant for Sony when comes to sales, only around 8% sales for Japan from world wide sales is not good result.

Exactly, It's very possible that Germany and UK will beat Japan numbers at end.
