Larian Studios has just announced that Divinity: Original Sin 2 has sold more than 1 million copies. Divinity: Original Sin 2 released on September 14th for the PC. Therefore, it took Larian two and a half months in order to hit its 1 million milestone.

The Witcher 3 Enhanced Edition mod completely overhauls combat and alchemy

This is not the Witcher 3 I played. In the game I remember, Geralt whirled and twirled his way through combat, magnetising to the nearest enemy. Combat wasn't always easy, and it did have some depth—I had fun wading into crowds of enemies, dodging and rolling out of the way, and buffing up with potions before big fights. But I was always disappointed with the limitations of The Witcher 3's skill upgrade system, and upgrading gear and the Quen sign made late-game battles less challenge, more race to see how fast I could decapitate every monster or thug in sight. The Witcher 3 Enhanced Edition does not play like that. And for anyone who was turned off by The Witcher 3's vanilla combat, this mod might be just what they need to enjoy one of the best games of all time.

Darkest Dungeon is one the most challenging games I've ever played. As Ian Birnbaum noted in his review, it's great fun even when it's cruel and a host of neat player-made mods have since added mileage to what's already a deep and comprehensive game.
The latest mod that's caught my eye is shishiwashi's Boss Rush—and I can't decided if it's a cool idea or the work of a twisted sadist.

THQ Nordic and Square Enix have announced that Black Mirror and Star Ocean: The Last Hope 4K and Full HD Remaster are now available on the PC. Developed in partnership with tri-Ace, the prequel to the original STAR OCEAN game has been remastered in full high-definition. This basically means that the game comes with added 4K support and PC keyboard/mouse and controller support.

 

New major update released for Project CARS 2, improving AI, handling, audio, VR and more

Slightly Mad Studios has released a major new patch for Project CARS 2. According to the release notes, this patch brings numerous AI, vehicle handling, audio, Career and VR improvements. So yeah, this is pretty much a big improvement over the game’s launch version.

After what has happened with Star Wars: Battlefront 2, things are not looking well for EA. And things will not get improved in the near future as its chief financial officer, Blake Jorgensen, has made some pretty bold statements. During a presentation at the Credit Suisse 21st Annual Technology conference, Jorgensen claimed that EA had to close Visceral because its Star Wars game would not make a lot of money.

Milestone extends its MotoGP license to 2021
