My next display is likely to be a 5k display.
Aka. 5120 × 2880. Or 4x Quad HD aka. 2880P.
But I am not sure you understood my post correctly, the Xbox One X is a 1080P console on my 1440P display, granted a very clean 1080P console, but still 1080P.

Its size is basically all plastic with a tiny chip inside for the HDMI out, that is why Nyko (?) managed to make a Dock way more portable than the original. Objectively, the Nintendo Switch is a Tablet with a Dock. That's it. |
A USB C dock to be exact.
But there is a little more to it, but overall it's a pretty "dumb" device.
The Switch's SoC certainly does all the heavy lifting.
It's a shame Nintendo didn't use a PCI-E based interconnect to connect the Switch to the Dock... As that would have opened up the console to the possibility of having a second GPU.
