Hardly ever definition.

https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/hardly%20ever

If we count 2013. 48 months total since PS4 was released. 29 out of 48 months They made statements about  being #1 in US or combo Global #1. Google is your friend.

I already ripped this argument apart, unfortunately. For reference, the question regarded, explicitly, what Sony "does," not what they "did."

For the first 29 months, they posted at a 100% rate. For the last 19, they posted at a 16% rate. That's an 84% drop-off, for nearly 2 years or the last 40% of the console's lifespan.

In essence, for nearly the second half of the console's lifespan, the span that is CURRENT, they...wait for it...HARDLY EVER post about winning.

Scrolling through the posts is fundamental. Logic is your friend. Selection bias is your enemy.

Exactly this.

Cmay and zorg, I’m not sure what the hell you two are going on about. No one said ANYthing about Sony NEVER giving statements. They used to give statements every month! I’m the one who made the first comment on this, and there was no reason to freak out over it. Context is key. Statements going back 3-4 years are entirely irrelevant, as I was talking about Sony’s RECENT trends in regards to PR statements. And their RECENT trends have been to give PR statements quite infrequently (two official statements since 4/2016), whether they won or not.

Goodness. The conversation was between me and hudsoniscool, and it was entirely civil until you two started going bananas.
